# Connecting to GCP from thin-edge device

Hi Experts,

I know thin-edge do not have a way to connect to GCP directly.

But would like to explore options on how we can send device data/telemetry data to GCP from thin-edge.

Appreciate if you can share your thoughts on this topic.

Hi Nagesh,

can you elaborate what is meant with “send device data/telemetry data to GCP”?  
Where exactly do you want to have the data in GCP? In which data format should it be sent?

[thin-edge.io](http://thin-edge.io) has a comprehensive extensibility concept so you can add your cloud integrations if desired or start with a small helper mapper that transforms the data and sends it to GCP (what ever this means).
