# Cumulocity LoRa Downlink with Loriot Agent/Operations api

Cumulocity Loriot Agent + Operations API

#### _Detailed explanation of the problem:_

Until shortly it was no problem to send Downlinks to Loriot LoRa devices using the operations api and the guide here: [Loriot LoRa - Cumulocity IoT documentation](https://cumulocity.com/docs/2024/protocol-integration/lora-loriot/#loriot-sending-operations)  
But now i get an error message.  
There is no information what “Device reference is not found in managed object” is supposed to mean and how it can be fixed.

The issue was that there was no `c8y_LoriotProviderReference` fragment created in the inventory.  
I don’t know why this was the case but the issue has been resolved.
