# Editing in c8y-data -grid

c9y\_frontend\_version: 1018.0.240

**Detailed description:**  
We have an requirement that when user click on edit button then the selected row should open as text box, user can add something then click on save button, data should be update.  
Is it possible to do it in c8y-data-grid as I am not able to figure how to do it

Hi @rushikesh_n,

Did you had a look at the samples in the tutorial app for having custom cell renderers? If so, where are you stuck right now?
