We’re excited to introduce Streaming Lake Ingestion, the first capability of **DataHub 2.0** and a new way to get your IoT data into an open data lake powered by Apache Iceberg — automatically, continuously, and in near-real-time.

**Simpler.** Activate it and you’re done — no schema design, no table mapping, no pipeline to build or maintain. The schema evolves automatically as new measurement types appear.

**Fresher.** Data lands in the lake within minutes of being recorded in Cumulocity, not hours. Fresh enough to drive real-time analytics, automation, and agentic AI workflows.

**Open.** Built on Apache Iceberg, the data is immediately queryable by any Iceberg-compatible platform — Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Fabric, Dremio, Spark — with no proprietary connector required.
