Hi experts,

are there any caveats / best practices for running [thin-edge.io](http://thin-edge.io) under Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL)?

Thanks Marco

[thin-edge.io](http://thin-edge.io) works great under WSL (2), as modern WSL versions can be treated as a plain Ubuntu distribution (assuming you’re using the default Ubuntu distro).

Modern WSL2 versions support systemd so you can the standard service management that you would get when installing Ubuntu/Debian OS natively on a device or virtual machine. You can see the [WSL2 docs about it](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wsl/systemd).
