Does Cumulocity also removes the attached file (binary) of an event which gets removed via retention rules? I hope yes, i would like to prevent to much binary data in the mongo db and hope i can solve that with well define retention rules for my events!
Yes, that is one of the main reasons why binaries should be attached to events (when possible) instead of uploading them directly via binary API.
