Extend asset search in Cockpit/Devicemanagement with additional asset attributes

Hello there :slight_smile:

We need to extend the default Cockpit/Devicemanagement asset search by additional asset attributes. Currently the search supports the Name, ID and c8y_Serial.externalID fragments.

Is there any way to extend that with a custom service plugin or something like that so that more attributes like custom fields are also considered? Using the asset table in the search process is currently not an option.

You could potentially attempt to override the getData method of the AssetSearchService.
