I want to have column width to be retained in the grid if user changes the width

wanted to have column width to be retained if user move to different page and comes back to same page, change done to column width has to be retained,

currently i tried and could not get it worked, any suggestions.

yes its in UI,, what i need is retaining the column width when user changes the column width in home page for example and moves to other page, when he comes back to Home page the column width changes has to be retained. current i used event config and event is not triggering. i am using has a base components

Data grid / Cumulocity - Codex

Please find the url. In above url i will change the width of the column. i will move to page Device connection status / Cumulocity - Codex and come back to Data Grid page width would reset, i want to retain the changes.

In the UI I found no way to freeze the width of a column, only with an own web app using the web SDK: Introduction - Cumulocity documentation
