Install Demo Catalog Application as Custom Applications and not the External

What product/components do you use and which version/fix level are you on?

Is your question related to the free trial, or to a production (customer) instance?

What are you trying to achieve? Please describe it in detail.

We have created demo through Application Builder Demo Catalog and it is created as external application below

Therefore it neither appears in to Default application list or exclusive access to the single application is created.

However this is not true with all application created through application builder

Kindly guide how to convert external application for existing demo created through app builder (External) to make it a custom application

Note:while cloning the application in application builder,If context path is left blank then it takes the one of the previous one which represent the external application URL pattern and if the new context path is given then it throws the message stating the context path already exists.

Do you get any error messages? Please provide a full error message screenshot and log file.

Have you installed all the latest fixes for the products and systems you are using?

Hi Harshil,

AFAIK, all the application created using Application Builder (without context path) or Demo Catalog will have type “External” by default.

If you clone your application by providing context path, then new application will have type “Custom”.
Please clone application by giving different context path if you are getting message saying its “already exists” or delete old application(if not required) having that context path.
If you are keep getting same error message, then please verify all application’s context path by using below REST API:
https://{{tenantURL}}/application/applicationsByTenant/{{tenantId}}?pageSize=2000&withTotalPages=true
