Is there a way for me to view the devices currently in a scheduled bulk operation? I can see there is a bulk operation scheduled with 8 devices, but I can’t see which 8 devices it is.
Is it also possible to add a custom column for “Update scheduled for device”?
To view devices, you can go to Overviews → Device control → Bulk operations, then expand the bulk operation and scroll down. You will see the selected device.
The bulk operation overview shows the created operations, but does not work as an overview of the devices. We don’t really have an out-of-the-box UI for end users here.
If you are looking for a less polished but still functional experience, then there is a way. Every bulk operation references a device group containing the devices it was scheduled for. These groups are created internally for technical reasons and typically hidden. However you can still view them. One way to do that is to record the group ID from the bulk operation, open a different group from the navigator, and then replace the group ID in the URL with the one recorded earlier.
With some customisation in the Device Management application this could also be made easier. However, I should mention, that this way is not guaranteed to always show the exact set of devices that were initially scheduled as part of the bulk operation. This is also one of the main reasons why we did not include this functionality in the default Device Management application.
