One of the most exciting innovations in this release is a preview of DataHub Streaming Lake Ingestion, representing the next evolution of industrial data access.

Streaming Lake Ingestion removes this bottleneck by continuously delivering operational data into the data lake in near real time, enabling faster analytics without the overhead of traditional ETL pipelines.

Powered by the AI Agent Manager, the widget provides a configurable, provider-agnostic chat experience that enables users to interact with purpose-built AI agents without leaving their operational dashboards.
Key capabilities include:
- Secure, governed AI interactions powered by AI Agent Manager
- Pre-configured AI agents for specific use cases, such as Machine Assistants or Knowledge Assistants
- Customisable branding and user experience, including titles, welcome messages, and agent information
- Agent transparency, with optional visibility of agent details and token usage
By embedding conversational AI directly within operational applications, users can access expert guidance and contextual information exactly where they need it.
AI Assistant – Private Preview
The next evolution of AI interaction on the platform is taking shape.
A new global AI Assistant is currently in Private Preview, designed to provide a unified, context-aware conversational experience across the entire Cumulocity platform — not just within individual dashboards, but as a persistent capability accessible wherever users work.
Early capabilities include agent-to-agent orchestration, enabling the AI Assistant to coordinate multiple AI agents behind the scenes to complete complex operational tasks — such as automatically generating dashboards from a natural language prompt.

Build Applications Faster with AI Skills
Building UI extensions or custom applications on Cumulocity got significantly easier.
AI Skills — pre-built, composable building blocks for common AI interaction patterns — are now included by default as part of WebSDK builds.
The Skills are loaded into your repository by default as soon as you bootstrap a new project using the Cumulocity Web SDK. This helps your AI assistant build Cumulocity extensions that just work with a single prompt.
Cockpit
Q3 delivers a significant set of enhancements across Cockpit, making dashboards more intelligent, interactive, and easier to use. The Event List view and widget have been migrated to Angular for a faster and more consistent experience.

The SCADA Widget has been completely modernised, bringing AI-assisted design and improved performance to industrial visualisations.
Using AI, users can automatically generate or receive suggestions for SVG-based SCADA visualisations by analysing asset data, including measurements, properties, alarms, and events. Interactive placeholder mapping makes it easy to bind visual elements to live operational data with just a few clicks, dramatically reducing the effort required to build dashboards.
Additional enhancements include:

The HTML Widget now supports on-demand refresh, allowing dashboards to update content only when required. This gives users greater control over refresh behaviour while improving dashboard performance. - KPI Widget Enhancements
