This year the Cumulocity Hackathon will be at our HQ in DĂĽsseldorf. Explore exciting and trending topics like AI + IoT and use provided tooling to bring your idea to life!

:bullseye: Challenges

Expect three innovative challenges:

  1. :robot: Agentic AI - Explore how you can leverage the latest AI and LLM technology in combination with Cumulocity to build innovative IoT solutions or extensions.
  2. :desktop_computer: Device Management & Connectivity - Get your hands on and extend the comprehensive Device Management & Connectivity stack of Cumulocity to connect & manage any devices with ease.
  3. :handshake: SAP Partner Challenge: Application Integration – Condition based monitoring brings together live sensor data with maintenance and other business processes touching business users at customers and feeding into the SAP backend. Explore how you can combine Cumulocity technologies embedded in SAP Asset Performance Management (APM) to improve maintenance processes and safeguard machine up-time in a scalable way.

:man_raising_hand: Who can join?

The Hackathon is open for anybody who has an interest in Cumulocity, IoT and AI but mainly for our customers, partners, and prospects.

We are also explcitly welcome every creative and innovative mind, so if you are a student or working for a start-up, please also apply.

Ideally you have a tech profile & history, working as a developer, solution architect or UX expert and gathered already some knowledge about IoT, Cumulocity and AI.

To make sure we have great & innovative mixture of participants, all reqistrations will be reviewed and a separate confirmation mail will be sent out in September 2025.

Just a quick heads-up:

I’m happy to share that we will have a 3rd Partner Challenge owned by SAP at the Hackathon.

It will be all around SAP Asset Performance Management in combination with Cumulocity.
